Ozone Insufflation

Ozone Rectal Insufflation is also known as an ozone enema. Ozone Rectal Insufflation is most effective when done immediately after the colon has been cleansed with a water Colon Hydrotherapy treatment, or immediately after a bowel movement for those who absolutely need rectal insufflations and refuse to do an enema.

The treatment involves an appropriate amount of ozone, which is determined by a Doctor, being insufflated into the rectum using a well lubricated catheter, initially for a few minutes at a time, several times per week.

After some time, Ozone Rectal Insufflation induces a healing reaction known as the Herxheimer reaction that marks the point at which the body has begun a normal process of eliminating toxins. This reaction may include temporary pimples, nausea and headaches. All of these symptoms diminish and eventually disappear as the body becomes free of toxins.

Rectally applied ozone is particularly helpful in cases of inflammatory conditions of the intestinal tract, for systemic revitalization and virus-produced diseases. In medical practice it has proved to be successful in treating illnesses such as chronic hepatitis, chronic colitis and chronic fatigue syndrome amongst many others.

Ozone ear insufflation is particularly effective in the treatment of ear conditions such as chronic middle ear infections, sore throats, and other realted viral and as well as bacterial infections. Ozone ear insufflation has also reportedly been successful in the treatment of brain tumors.
